Genome sequencing of smelt (Hypomesus nipponensis) - Smelt genome sequencing - Smelt genome assembly - Improvement of genome assembly using IsoSeq - Mitochondrial DNA analysis and comparison between species - Confirmation of draft genome - Gene prediction and annotation - Development of smelt relative species comparison marker 2. Transcriptome analysis (2 tissue, more than 10 samples) - RNA-Seq comparison by tissue (Liver and muscle) - Comparison of each tissue’s gene expression by sex - Comparison of each tissue’s gene expression by temperature (high/low) 3. Smelt microbiome analysis (More than 10 samples) - Smelt skin/gut microbiome analysis (based on 16S rRNA) - Analysis of effects of fish intake (using mice, more than 2 group)
